This is to be expected, because it's 0% the midi not volume has not impact on output volume.Ģ. An incoming midi note with a value of say 50, and a Simpler "velocity" setting of 0% has the same output volume as an incoming midi note with a value of 127 with a Simpler "velocity" setting of 0%. I am trying to figure out exactly what modifying Simpler's "velocity" setting is doing because the behavior I hear/see doesn't make sense to me:ġ. I am specifically referring to the "velocity" box on the right hand side of simpler, which has a value of 0% - 100%. I think one of us isn't getting the other, so let me try to explain clearer. at 50% velocity an incoming velocity of 0 will play at half the maximum value. at 100% there is full velocity sensitivity, so an incoming velocity value of 0 will play silently. at 0% there is no sensitivity from incoming velocity, so velocity does not affect the sound at all.
